Kayaking the Green

Here we are at the put-in just below Flaming Gorge Dam. The weather cleared up just long enough to make a run.  In the second picture you can see Liz getting a little water in the face. The bottom right picture is of John. It was a fun trip, we will have to do it again next year.

Steve told us there were a few little spillways. This was the biggest and it was not exactly little. Keep in mind that Scotty's boat is around 10 feet long. 

Draper Boys Downhill

The DBD did not take place at the usual time and I propose that we still schedule a race this month so that the tradition can remain alive. This race should be called the DBD Scorched Earth Series. Let me know what you think. Without this race life is boring (as illustrated by my dog).
