This year's race was a success with the usual winners and losers. Congrats to the Brinton Clan for bringing home the gold painted plastic and tshirts. Much fun was had by all, can't wait for next year....or in a few years when we are all together again.
Here we are at the put-in just below Flaming Gorge Dam. The weather cleared up just long enough to make a run. In the second picture you can see Liz getting a little water in the face. The bottom right picture is of John. It was a fun trip, we will have to do it again next year.

Steve told us there were a few little spillways. This was the biggest and it was not exactly little. Keep in mind that Scotty's boat is around 10 feet long.
I recently caught up with John at his lab. It was good to see him hard at work unlocking the powers of plants. Keep up the good work John.
